Romance : 
The film Titanic is a film that is seemly based on the disruption of the social classes of the higher and lower classes of society. this is seen hen Jack the main protagonist was not able to be with his love interest due to the fact that he was from a poor working class background
 
The target audience of this film are for people who have an interest in historical context seeing as it Is about the titanic that sank in 1912 as well as for the target audience of people who enjoy a story about love which is expressed though Jake and Rose's love story. the age group for this is aimed at certificate 12, due to its natural of natural events and the sexual nature of the love scenes are not suitable for a young audience members.

 The conventions that are used in the making of this film range from  high, low and canted angles. this devices is used so that the target audience are not bored when they are watching the film; as well as the different camera angles being a way to express different levels intensity's that are shown throughout the films journey.  the use of  juxtaposition of rich and poor, the gender roles played our up to the characters
