Target audience

I decided to look at different film audiences and there specific target audiences, the reason for this decision was so that I could get a better feel as to what and how I wanted to target my target audience. Therefore by me doing  independent research I was able to find a range of films that had a specific purpose for there film and target audiences.

Cosmopolis

The target audience are aimed at people who enjoy, drama, romances and thriller. This is targeted at the certification age group of 15 years upwards.

Is the story of Eric Parker, a 28 year old muliti- billionaire asset manger who makes an odyssey across midtown Manhattan in order to get a haircut. He drives around in a stretch limo which richly described as luxurious, spacious and highly technical, filled with televisions screens and computer screen, bullet-proofed and floored with carrara marble. It is also cork-lined to eliminate (though unsuccessfully, as packer notices the intrusion of street noise. packers' voyage is obstructed by various traffic jams caused by a presidential visit to the city, a full-fledged anti-capitalist riot, and a funeral procession for a Sufi rap star. Along the way, the hero has encounters with other women. Parker is also stalked by two men a comical ‘pastry assassin’ and an unstable ‘credible threat’. Through the course of the day, the protagonist loses incredible amounts of money for his clients by betting against the rise of the yen.

 

 

 

This means war

 The story follows two close friends who work as partners in the CIA. These friends, FDR ( Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy), have a close-knit relationship that resembles that of brothers. It would seem that nothing could come between this inseparable duo- until a women comes along. However the targeted audience has switched dramatically from male to female and the raunchiness is kicked into high gear.

 

 

 

 

 

Bel- Ami

 Georges Duroy is a penniless solder returning from war. He travels to Paris in a search for ways to improve his social and financial status. He uses his wit and powers of seduction to charm wealthy women. The target audience is aimed at people who have political views as well as love, historical content and beliefs.

The target audience for this film are young people (adults) who have suffered fro loved ones passing away as well as people who want to indulge in the romance between the two lovers.
