Top five film research

Top five film research

Genre – romance and drama film genre

Description of film- A poor and passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences.

Design, mood and atmosphere- I, along with almost every other person I have discussed the movie with, felt involved in the situations and the lives of the character- crying at the sad moments and feeling joy at the happy bits. in general, love stories are predictable and somewhat dull (in my opinion) yet this movie kept me guessing at the outcome, and delivered twists throughout the whole film. The
Notebook was extremely well constructed.
Reasons . Each scene was executed in a creative and imaginative way

This film is centred around the main protagonist played by ‘James Dean’- ‘James’ played the troubled teenager that has started at new high school as the time that he is there he falls in love with girl and they soon become inseparable but in the mean time there is trouble between James and the gang of boys they think they dominate the school
.
Description of the film- Design mood and atmosphere- A rebel without a cause is a film which has a lot of charisma and power elements of this film as well as the characters being portrayed through out the production. Thus
being about a rebellious teenager who arrives at a new school.
Reasons-The different elements of music was very fitting depended on the situations of the scene; this is effective as it helps the audience what to feel and how to react to certain scenes being acting out, with the use of text and how they are being delivered through the course of the movie.

Description of the film- The film is about the tragedy of Russian aristacraft and socialite Anna Karenina the wife of Alexei Karenina but has a passionate affair with officer Count Vronsky and has to choose between true love and ostracisation if divorced her current husband. Rollercoaster of emotions as she goes up and down with her paranoia that people are began to speak about her behind her back as she when of with her true love Count Vrosky played by Aaron Johnson which she then began to question if he really did love her due to the fact that she saw him with another women which was not what is looked like at all as he fought to have Anna Karenina by his side and was never going to leave her even if she was going to continue to doubt there love –at the end of this film it resulted in her getting hit my a train by taking her own life it then crossed back to Aaron Johnson for a split second which resulted with the door being closed in his face this to me symbolised that this was the end of there love affair as she decided to leave and almost take the selfish way out by leaving him alone and almost defenslous that there was nothing her could do now ,now that she is gone.
Design., mood and atmosphere - The film transitions are smooth ,sharp and polished all throughout the film they done this by making all the  scenes link together in a flawless and almost elegant way without it looking messy which made it fit together almost like a puzzle, I personally like the way in which the director used, cinema as well as theatrical transitions. Keira knightly hair was seen to be such a vivid black which has a massive impact on her high cheekbones implied and her slender frame encased is such magnificent gowns with bold colours. Anna Karenina is a ticking time bomb waiting to exploded with her rise and failing of emotions through out this entire film.
Another part of the film that catched my eye was the way in Mr Wright train station was symbolic this is because Anna first meet her true love Vrosky at the train station and dies at the end at the train station by a moving train this to me almost seems like she is saying goodbye to her lover Vrosky played by Aaron Johnson in the way her face seems so at rest by at the same time almost guilty for leaving him behind. By making this film risky as well ambisous.
Reason for top 5- The reason that this film is one of my top 5 favourite film is simply because of the way the costumes are beautifully design to capture the beauty of simplicity as well as coming across elegant and classy.

Drama ,fiction, romance,Historical
A young girl named Briony Tallis has a crush on a servant named Robbie Turner however he is in fact in love with her older sister Cecillia
and she is in love with him
I adore the simplicity of the lve between Ceillia and Robbie but at the same time i love the complexity it brings all together as we get to endure a happy ending at the end as Briony recreates her sister and husband after life as she gives them a life in the book she writes called anotement.
These elements stuck out during the film  Flashbacks:
Story within a story.
Music
Dialogue and costume / make-up.
                                                                                         Genre- Comedy, Drama ,Romance
Description of film- Sabrina Fairchild is the young daughter of the Larrabee family's chauffeur, Thomas, and has been in love with David Larrabee all her life. David is an oft-married, idle playboy, crazy for women, who has never noticed Sabrina, much to her and the staff's dismay. Sabrina then attends culinary school in Paris and returns as an attractive and sophisticated woman.David, after initially not recognizing her, is quickly drawn to her. David's workaholic older brother, Linus, sees this and fears that David's imminent wedding with a very wealthy woman, Elizabeth Tyson, may be endangered. If the wedding were to be canceled, so would a great corporate deal with the bride's family. So Linus tries to redirect Sabrina's affections, and in the process falls in love with her.At the end Sabrina sets off for Paris on a ship, after Linus has told her to leave and never come back.
Reason why  it is in top 5- I enjoyed the up tempo music when related to the scene as it reflects your emotions. Fashion: dresses Audrey Hepburn wore were absolutely stunning and classy.
